Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 20 m biely

The Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 20 m White is a high-performance networking cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections over longer distances. With a 20 metre length and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this Cat6a cable supports high-speed data transfer suitable for modern wired networks. Its S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair with overall braided shield) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding of this Cat6a cable provides enhanced protection against external interference and improves overall connection stability compared with unshielded alternatives. Cat6a performance enables higher bandwidth and better attenuation characteristics up to 500 MHz, making it suitable for demanding applications. The 20 m length offers flexibility when routing between network devices in homes, offices, or server rooms. The white jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends with most interiors and cable management schemes.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches, routers and networked printers over longer distances
• Home and small office wired networks requiring stable Gigabit or multi-Gigabit links
• Environments with multiple cables or electronic devices where shielding reduces interference
• Structured cabling runs between rooms, media cabinets and network equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs with overall braided shield)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: White
• Suitable bandwidth: up to 500 MHz (Cat6a performance)

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges to prevent damage to the internal conductors and shielding. Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the Ethernet ports of your devices until they click into place. For best performance, maintain correct cable separation from power lines and large sources of electromagnetic interference. If installing as part of structured cabling, secure the cable using appropriate clips or cable ties and avoid compressing the jacket near connector ends.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for installations that require consistent high-speed connectivity and reduced interference. Verify that connected devices and network equipment support the desired link speeds (Gigabit or higher) to fully utilize the cable’s Cat6a capabilities. For permanent or concealed installations, follow local building and fire-safety codes regarding cable routing and fire-rating considerations.
