Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 5 m zelený

The Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 5 m Green networking cable is designed for reliable, high-speed Ethernet connections over a 5 metre reach. With Cat6a specification and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Standard RJ‑45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with switches, routers, network interface cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices while its green outer sheath makes cable routing and identification straightforward in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually braided shields around each twisted pair, which reduces crosstalk and external interference for more stable data transmission. The Cat6a rating enables support for higher bandwidths and frequencies than Cat5e or Cat6 in suitable network environments. Factory-terminated RJ‑45 plugs provide plug-and-play installation without additional tooling. The 5 m length balances reach with minimal excess slack for desktop or rack-mounted networking setups.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between desktop PCs, switches and routers within a room or office
• Connecting networked devices in home entertainment and media setups
• Office network patches and short-run cabling in server racks or patch panels
• Environments where cable identification by colour simplifies installation and maintenance

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + braided shield per pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to a switch, router or modem. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain gentle curves with a bend radius appropriate for twisted‑pair cables to preserve performance. For structured cabling, use cable management clips or ties to keep the run organized and to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP cable in shielded or mixed environments where reduced interference is required. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-power electrical lines for long distances. For critical links, test connection speed and link stability after installation to confirm expected performance.
