Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 2 m sivý

The Sharkoon Patch Network Cable SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 2m in grey is a shielded Ethernet cable engineered for reliable wired network connections. Compliant with the Cat.7a specification and fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, this 2-metre cable provides a balance between reach and cable management for home and office installations. The SFTP (shielded foil twisted pair) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transfer rates for demanding applications such as gaming, streaming and professional workloads.

Advantages

The cable's SFTP shielding and individually foil-wrapped pairs deliver improved noise suppression compared with unshielded variants, which helps maintain signal integrity over the cable length. Cat.7a support increases the cable's bandwidth capacity and future-proofs connections where higher frequencies are required. The RJ-45 connector format ensures broad compatibility with routers, switches, PCs and other network devices, while the 2 m length simplifies routing and reduces excess slack in typical desktop, entertainment or small office setups.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, routers, and switches
• Gaming setups requiring low-latency, stable links
• Streaming and media devices where consistent throughput is needed
• Small office and home office networks
• Temporary or permanent cabling where 2 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7a (augmented)
• Shielding: SFTP (shielded foil twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 male on both ends
• Length: 2 metres
• Color: Grey
• Conductor arrangement: Twisted pairs with individual pair foil shielding
• Intended use: Ethernet networking up to Cat.7a frequencies

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Sharkoon Cat.7a cable to the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other end to your computer, console or network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until you hear a click to establish a reliable mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For wall or under-desk installations, secure the cable with clips or cable ties while preserving gentle curves to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Use this SFTP Cat.7a cable in setups where reduced interference and higher bandwidth are beneficial. Avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or close to transformers to minimize residual noise. Inspect connectors periodically for dust and ensure strain relief at connection points to extend cable life.
