Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 75210-500HS Cat 5e F/UTP plný 500 m

Solid network cable ShiverPeaks 75210-500HS Cat 5e F/UTP on a 500 m reel is a shielded twisted-pair cable designed for structured cabling and reliable Ethernet installations. The cable provides Cat5e performance for voice and data transmission and features solid conductors with an overall foil shield (F/UTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference in commercial and residential environments.

Advantages

The foil overall shield offers enhanced protection against external interference compared with unshielded variants, improving signal integrity over longer horizontal and backbone runs. Solid conductors ensure stable contact in punch-down blocks, keystone jacks and permanent links, while the halogen-free jacket reduces harmful emissions in enclosed spaces. The 500 m reel format supports continuous installation without frequent splices, lowering labour time on site.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling for offices and commercial buildings
• Horizontal and backbone cabling runs
• Ethernet networks up to Cat5e speeds (1000BASE-T limited by Cat5e performance)
• Voice and data transmission in apartments and multi-dwelling units
• Environments requiring shielded cabling to mitigate EMI

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: Foil overall shield (F/UTP)
• Conductor type: Solid copper conductors
• Length: 500 m reel
• Jacket material: Halogen-free outer sheath
• Pair configuration: 4 twisted pairs

How to use

Install the cable following local building and cabling codes. Route the cable through pathways and trays appropriate for shielded cable, avoiding sharp bends and sources of mechanical damage. Terminate the solid conductors on compatible keystone jacks, patch panels or punch-down blocks intended for solid wire, and ensure the foil shield is properly grounded at a single point to maintain shielding effectiveness. Test each installed link with a suitable cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance up to Cat5e specifications.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines, and use appropriate shielded connectors and grounding practice. Store the reel in a dry, temperature-stable environment prior to installation to prevent jacket deformation.
