Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 75210-50S CAT 5e F/UTP Solid, 50 m

ShiverPeaks Network Cable 75210-50S CAT 5e F/UTP Solid, 50 m is a shielded Ethernet cable on a 50 m reel designed for structured cabling installations. The cable uses a solid conductor and foil shielding (F/UTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference while supporting CAT 5e performance for typical Ethernet applications. It is intended for permanent horizontal and vertical runs in offices, server rooms and residential environments where a durable, low-interference connection is required.

Advantages

The foil shielding provides improved protection against external electromagnetic noise compared with unshielded cables, which helps maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The solid core construction ensures stable impedance and reliable performance over long permanent runs, and the 50 m reel format facilitates measured, clean installation during structured cabling projects. The cable is compatible with CAT 5e network equipment, providing sufficient bandwidth and transmission characteristics for common Ethernet speeds.

Suitable for

• Permanent horizontal and vertical cabling in office buildings
• Server room patch and backbone segments
• Residential structured wiring for Ethernet networks
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where foil shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 5e
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil shield around pairs, unshielded overall)
• Conductor type: Solid conductor
• Length: 50 m reel
• Intended use: Permanent installation (horizontal/vertical)
• Supported applications: Ethernet networks up to CAT 5e performance

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices: run the cable in conduit or cable trays as required, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling tension, and maintain proper separation from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. Terminate the solid conductor ends at appropriate keystone jacks, patch panels or punch-down blocks rated for CAT 5e solid conductors, and test each run with a suitable network cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and attenuation before putting the connection into regular use.

Recommendations

For best results, store the reel in a dry environment prior to installation, use appropriate bend-radius and pull-force limits for solid core cable, and perform post-termination testing to confirm CAT 5e compliance. Consider additional grounding measures if integrating with other shielded components in the same infrastructure.
