Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 75720-AB Cat 6A S/FTP bezhalogénový, hromadný dátový kábel

ShiverPeaks 75720-AB Cat 6A S/FTP halogen-free bulk data cable is designed for reliable high-speed network installations where reduced electromagnetic interference and minimized fire-safety hazards are required. The cable uses individually foil-shielded twisted pairs with an overall foil and braid shield (S/FTP) to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet and maintain signal integrity in dense cabling environments. Halogen-free jacket material reduces the release of toxic fumes in case of fire, making this cable suitable for installations in server rooms, data centers, commercial buildings and other areas with stringent safety requirements.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with both pair-level foil and overall braid shielding provides strong protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, helping to sustain high data rates over longer distances. The Cat 6A specification supports 10GBASE-T applications and is suitable for structured cabling that requires future-proof performance. The halogen-free outer jacket reduces corrosive and toxic gas emissions during combustion, improving safety in enclosed spaces. The cable is supplied in bulk format for flexible length usage and professional termination on-site.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet backbones and horizontal runs in commercial and enterprise networks
• Server rooms and data center interconnects where low interference and fire safety are important
• High-density structured cabling installations in offices and technical rooms
• Professional on-site termination and patch panel installations from bulk cable reels

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP — individually foil-shielded pairs plus overall foil and braid
• Jacket material: halogen-free formulation
• Data rate support: suitable for 10 Gbps Ethernet
• Use environment: designed for indoor structured cabling, server rooms and data centers
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pair configuration with pair-level shielding

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices and applicable local codes. Run the bulk cable from the reel to the required termination points, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling tension. Terminate onto compatible RJ45 Cat 6A keystone jacks or patch panels that support shielded connections; ensure proper grounding of the overall shield and maintain correct pair untwist length during termination to preserve performance. Test installed links with a certified cable tester for Cat 6A/10G performance to verify continuity, attenuation, near-end crosstalk and return loss.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat 6A S/FTP cable in combination with shielded connectors, patch panels and professionally installed grounding to maintain shield effectiveness. Avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines and observe manufacturer guidelines for bend radius and pulling tension to ensure consistent 10 Gbps performance.
