Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 15 m Cat7 S/FTP sivý

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 15m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable in grey is engineered for high-speed wired connections in home and professional networks. This 15-metre Cat7 cable supports demanding data transmission with individually shielded pairs and an overall foil shield, and terminates in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transfer and reduce contact corrosion. The robust S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain stable throughput over longer runs.

Advantages

The cable's Cat7 specification enables support for higher bandwidths and improved noise immunity compared with earlier categories. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact durability and stable conductivity. S/FTP shielding — foil around each twisted pair plus an overall shield — provides effective protection against external electromagnetic interference, making the cable suitable for environments with multiple electrical devices or dense cabling. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance for cable management in visible installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers, and servers
• Home office and small business wired networks
• Audio/video streaming and gaming setups requiring low-latency links
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference or dense cabling
• Structured cabling where a 15 m fixed-length cable is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 15 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil shield around each pair + overall foil shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey
• Conductor type: Twisted pairs (shielded)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, modem, or network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for category cables to preserve performance. For best results, pair the cable with compatible Cat7-capable ports or network equipment supporting Gigabit and higher speeds.

Recommendations

Install the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources when possible. When running multiple cables in parallel, maintain spacing or use separate conduits to reduce potential interference. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or shielding shows visible wear. Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for cabling runs up to its length and combine with appropriate network hardware to achieve expected throughput.
