Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S 15m Cat7 S/FTP sivý

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S 15m Cat7 S/FTP Grey networking cable provides a 15-metre connection for high-speed Ethernet networks. Constructed to Cat7 standards, the cable supports high data rates and reduced crosstalk thanks to S/FTP shielding. Each end is fitted with an RJ-45 connector with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The grey outer sheath offers a neutral appearance suitable for residential and office environments while maintaining performance for demanding network tasks.

Advantages

The S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) design lowers electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, delivering more stable signals in noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance long-term contact reliability and ensure consistent data transfer. A 15m length provides flexibility for layouts where devices are distant from switches or routers. The cable's construction meets Cat7 specifications to support higher bandwidth applications and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks connecting routers, switches and media devices
• Office workstations and small business LAN setups
• High-bandwidth applications such as 4K streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Environments with potential EMI where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 15 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey
• Conductor material: Copper (solid/stranded as per manufacturer standard)
• Intended use: Ethernet LAN up to Cat7 performance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network switch, router or modem and the other end to the target device such as a PC, NAS or smart TV. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to provide a secure electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or kinks and keep it separated from high-voltage power cabling where possible to minimize interference. For wall or floor installations, use appropriate cable clips or conduits to secure and protect the cable.

Recommendations

For best performance, test the link after installation with a network tester to verify signal integrity and continuity. Avoid tight coils and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for Ethernet cabling; when running alongside power lines, maintain separation to further reduce potential interference.
