Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 20m Cat7 S/FTP biely

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 20m Cat7 S/FTP White networking cable is engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and small office networks. This 20-metre Cat7 cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction to minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to improve contact reliability and reduce signal loss. The white jacket provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance suitable for visible installations and cable runs along walls or skirting.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding of the cable provides robust protection against external interference, supporting stable throughput in environments with multiple electronic devices. Cat7 specification supports higher frequency bandwidths compared with earlier categories, enabling improved performance for Gigabit and multi-gigabit applications where cable quality matters. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact. The 20 m length balances reach and manageability for typical residential and office layouts.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet and multi-gigabit network connections
• Connections between routers, switches, NAS devices and PCs
• High-density environments with potential electromagnetic interference
• Visible cable runs where a white finish is preferred for aesthetics

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 20 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: White

How to use

Route the cable between networking devices avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks to preserve internal conductor integrity. Plug RJ-45 connectors firmly into corresponding ports on routers, switches or network devices until a secure latch click is felt. For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large inductive loads. Test the connection with network diagnostic tools or a connected device to confirm link speed and stability.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for wired connections requiring reduced interference and reliable throughput; replace if the jacket or connectors show visible damage. For runs longer than 20 m, verify link performance and consider intermediate hardware such as switches if signal integrity or speed drops below expected levels.
