Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 30m Cat7 S/FTP sivý

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 30m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired data transmission over long distances. With a 30-metre length and Cat7 specification, this grey cable supports enhanced shielding and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables. It is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to help maintain reliable electrical contact and resist corrosion. The cable is intended to provide stable connections for residential and commercial networking needs, including applications that demand consistent throughput and low interference.

Advantages

The S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction offers individual pair foil shielding plus an overall braid shield to minimise electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure improved conductivity and long-term contact stability. The 30m length allows flexible placement of networking equipment without the need for additional patching or repeaters. Cat7 performance supports higher frequencies and better signal integrity for environments with multiple active network links.

Suitable for

• High-bandwidth home networks for gaming and 4K/8K streaming
• Office Ethernet connections between switches, routers and wall outlets
• Data transfers and backups that require consistent throughput
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7, S/FTP shielding (individually foiled pairs with overall braided shield)
• Length: 30 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Colour: Grey
• Designed frequency range: supports higher frequency transmission consistent with Cat7 standards

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other into the target device or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive stretching or contact with sources of strong electromagnetic noise. If running the cable through conduits or behind walls, verify local building codes and use appropriate installation practices to maintain shielding effectiveness and mechanical protection.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid coiling the cable tightly and keep it away from power lines and large electrical equipment. When connecting to devices, verify that the network hardware supports Gigabit or higher speeds to take full advantage of Cat7 capabilities. For permanent in-wall installations, consider using conduit and properly rated installation cables where required by regulations.
