Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat 7 S/FTP, GHMT certifikovaný, dátová sieť

ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat 7 S/FTP network cable is a GHMT-certified Category 7 cable engineered for high-performance Ethernet and data networking. The cable combines individually shielded twisted pairs with an overall foil shield to reduce near-end crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, providing stable links for Gigabit and higher-speed connections in structured cabling, server rooms, switches and demanding home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP design offers superior protection against pair-to-pair crosstalk and outside noise compared with unshielded or loosely shielded alternatives. GHMT certification confirms compliance with Category 7 performance parameters, ensuring consistent signal integrity across the supported frequency range. The construction supports reliable transmission under dense cabling conditions and in environments with significant electromagnetic interference, while maintaining mechanical flexibility suitable for installation in conduit, raceways and patching applications.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in data centres and server rooms
• Structured cabling for office and commercial environments
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• High-bandwidth home networks for streaming and NAS access
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Category 7 (Cat 7)
• Shielding: S/FTP — individually shielded pairs plus overall foil
• Certification: GHMT-certified to Category 7 performance
• Application: Ethernet and general data networking
• Installation: Suitable for structured cabling, patching and permanent link installations

How to use

Strip the outer jacket and prepare the individually shielded pairs according to the termination standard in use (for example, T568A/B). Ensure that shielding drain wires and foil are properly connected to the metal connector or grounding point where required to maintain the shield continuity. Route the cable keeping bend radius recommendations in mind and avoid placing it near strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. Terminate with compatible Cat 7–rated connectors and test the installed link with suitable certification or verification equipment to confirm performance.

Recommendations

For best results in high-density or high-interference environments, maintain proper grounding of shields, use compatible shielded connectors and follow installation guidelines for bend radius and separation from power cabling. Verify link performance with a cable tester or certifier after installation to ensure Category 7 performance parameters are met.
