Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable is a 0.5 m patch lead designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Constructed with U/FTP (STP) shielding and terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this green cable supports modern networking equipment and provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference for consistent signal integrity in short-run connections.

Advantages

The U/FTP (STP) shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving overall transmission stability. Cat7 specification enables higher frequency performance compared with earlier categories, allowing for increased throughput where supported by connected devices. The compact 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable clutter in racks and desktop setups, while the RJ-45 terminations ensure straightforward compatibility and plug-and-play use.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between networking devices (switch to router, switch to patch panel)
• Desktop or rack-mounted equipment where space is limited
• Environments requiring improved EMI protection for reliable data links

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (shielded twisted pairs with overall foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Green
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device and the other to the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are inserted fully until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the 0.5 m length for tidy linkage where devices are close together; avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and maintain appropriate bend radius to preserve shielding and conductor integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat7 shielded cable in short runs within racks or between adjacent devices. Avoid running the cable parallel and in close contact with mains power lines to minimize potential interference. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if shielding or connector housing shows signs of wear.
