Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable is a 0.5 m red patch cable designed for reliable, high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed with U/FTP (shielded twisted pair) conductors and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this short Cat7 cable provides improved protection against crosstalk and electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Its compact length makes it suitable for short runs between devices where a neat, low-profile connection is required.

Advantages

The U/FTP (STP) shielding enhances signal integrity and reduces external interference, supporting stable data transmission in environments with multiple electronic devices. Cat7 specification enables high bandwidth capabilities for demanding network tasks. The 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable clutter and helps maintain tidy cable layouts in racks, behind desks, or between networked devices. RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches, routers, patch panels and devices
• Home and small office network setups where space is limited
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, gaming, and file transfers
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference that benefit from shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 0.5 m
• Conductor type: Shielded U/FTP (each pair foil-shielded)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Red
• Suitable for high-speed Ethernet applications up to Cat7 performance levels

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of the devices you wish to link, ensuring a secure click on both ends. Use this 0.5 m cable for short, direct connections where minimal slack is desired; avoid bending the cable sharply at the connector junctions to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For optimal performance, connect between compatible network equipment supporting Cat-level specifications and place the cable away from strong sources of interference when possible.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable for short interconnects in patch panels, switch-to-appliance links, or behind wall-mounted equipment. Do not subject the cable to excessive tension, repeated tight bends, or exposure to liquids. When routing near power lines or motors, keep a small separation distance to maintain shielding effectiveness.
