Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 15m zelený U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 15m Green U/FTP networking cable is designed for stable, high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. This 15-metre cable uses Cat7 wiring and U/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, and it is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward plug-and-play connection to switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The green jacket provides easy visual identification in multi-cable installations while its construction supports reliable long-term use.

Advantages

U/FTP shielding improves signal integrity by protecting individual pairs and the overall cable from interference, which helps maintain higher throughput over longer runs. The Cat7 specification supports higher frequency bandwidths suitable for gigabit and multi-gigabit applications. With factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs, the cable is ready for immediate deployment without additional assembly. The 15 m length offers flexibility in equipment placement, reducing the need for additional patching or extension adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• Wiring between patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling
• Multi-gigabit LAN connections and high-bandwidth streaming
• Temporary or permanent network runs where visible cable color helps identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 15 metres
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with foil-shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends, factory-terminated
• Jacket colour: Green
• Intended use: Ethernet/network data transmission

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other connector to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated to make a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; keep separation from mains power cables where possible. For permanent installations, use cable management accessories to secure the cable and maintain bend radius recommendations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that connected equipment supports the desired network speeds and that other cabling in the link meets or exceeds Cat7 requirements. Avoid repeated sharp bends and do not stretch the cable; store excess length in gentle loops. When used in mixed-cable environments, label each end for easy identification and to simplify maintenance.
