Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 5m biely U/FTP (STP)

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 5m White U/FTP (STP) networking cable is designed to provide stable wired connections for local networks, workstations, and home entertainment systems. This 5 meter Cat7 patch cable uses U/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations on both ends to support high-frequency signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference, suitable for demanding applications such as gaming and 4K streaming.

Advantages

The U/FTP (shielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded jacket) construction improves resistance to crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables. Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidth and better attenuation performance, enabling reliable Gigabit and multi-gigabit data rates over short to medium distances. The white outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates easily into residential or office environments and helps with discrete cable routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, gaming consoles, smart TVs and networked media players
• Wired connections in home offices and corporate workstations
• Network switches, routers and patch panels in small server rooms
• High-bandwidth activities such as online gaming, 4K/8K streaming and large file transfers

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance class
• Length: 5 meters
• Shielding: U/FTP (individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor material: stranded copper for flexibility (typical for patch cables)
• Outer jacket color: white
• Suitable for Ethernet standards supporting Gigabit and multi-gigabit links

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; maintain gentle curves around corners and use cable management clips if required. For shielded installations, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment when integrating with shielded outlets or racks.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or heavy electrical equipment. Use the 5 m length for links within the same room or between adjacent rooms; for longer runs, select an appropriately rated cable and confirm connector and device support for multi-gigabit speeds.
