Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP 15m oranžový

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP 15m Orange networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding data transmission environments. Built to Cat7 standards with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated contacts on its RJ-45 and RJ-21 connectors, the cable supports stable, low-interference connections over a 15 metre length while remaining flexible enough for typical installation routes. The orange jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP construction minimises electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, supporting high-speed and reliable network performance. Gold-plated contacts on both RJ-45 and RJ-21 connectors enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 15 m length covers longer runs without additional joins, and the cable’s flexible PVC jacket eases routing through conduits, under floors, or in server cabinets. The distinctive orange colour improves cable management and identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections between network switches, routers and patch panels
• Server room and data centre horizontal cabling where shielded cabling is required
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD video streaming, large file transfers and VoIP
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 and RJ-21 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: Orange
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper (shielded)

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 end to standard Ethernet ports on switches, routers or network interfaces and the RJ-21 end where compatible patch panels or multi-line interfaces require it. Route the cable following building standards for shielded cabling, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Ensure both ends are properly seated and secured in their connectors to maintain shielding continuity and optimal signal transfer.

Recommendations

For best performance, install with proper grounding of shielded terminations and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances. Test connections after installation with a network tester to verify continuity, shielding integrity and performance parameters appropriate for Cat7 cabling.
