Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP sivý 1 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP networking cable in grey is a 1 m cable engineered for high-speed wired connections. Designed for modern Ethernet environments, this Cat7 S/FTP cable supports shielded pairs and an overall shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contact and minimized signal loss, while the compact 1 metre length is convenient for patching between nearby devices or within rack installations.

Advantages

Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP) construction improves noise immunity in crowded electromagnetic environments and helps maintain consistent throughput. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and resist corrosion for reliable long-term connections. The cable's Cat7 design supports higher frequency bandwidth than lower categories, enabling improved performance for demanding network tasks. Its neutral grey jacket provides a low-profile appearance for professional installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in data cabinets and server rooms
• Short-run connections between desktop PCs and network outlets
• High-bandwidth applications such as IPTV, VoIP and large file transfers
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foiled pairs with overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Color: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until it clicks into place. Use the 1 m cable to link devices located close to each other, for example between a wall outlet and a desktop computer or between patch panel ports inside a rack. For best performance ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid tight bends near the connector ends. When disconnecting, depress the connector clip before pulling to prevent damage.

Recommendations

For optimal shielding performance keep the cable run separate from high-voltage power lines and avoid routing the cable alongside mains cables. Use the cable for short patch runs and within racks or workstations where a 1 m length is sufficient; for longer runs select an appropriately longer Cat7 or Cat6A cable. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or terminations show wear.
