Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S čierny 20 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Black 20 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for reliable wired connections in home, office, and professional environments. This Cat7 cable supports high data rates and reduced crosstalk through individual pair shielding and an overall foil shield, delivering stable network performance over a 20 meter run. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and reduce corrosion, while the black jacket provides a discreet, professional finish suitable for visible installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines foil shielding around each twisted pair with an overall shield to minimize electromagnetic interference and near-end crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and long-term contact reliability. A 20 m length covers typical room-to-room and office-to-switch runs without additional couplers, and the Cat7 specification ensures headroom for gigabit and multigigabit applications where shielded cabling is preferred for noise-sensitive environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for home networks and small offices
• High-speed internet and large file transfers
• Connecting routers, switches, modems, NAS devices and desktop computers
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference, such as server rooms or near audio/video equipment

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat7 S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pairs with overall shield)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Black
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, supports gigabit and multigigabit speeds where cabling and hardware allow

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 plug to the network port of your router, switch, modem or network device and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain gentle curves and avoid running parallel to power cables if possible to reduce potential interference. For best performance, use with compatible shielded network equipment and proper grounding where required.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, inspect connectors before installation and avoid kinking the cable. When deploying in mixed-cable environments, keep shielded Ethernet separated from unshielded power lines and, if used in professional racks or server rooms, verify shield continuity and grounding per installation standards.
