Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S zelený 10 m Cat7 S/FTP RJ-45

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S networking cable Green 10 m Cat7 S/FTP RJ-45 is a 10-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It complies with the Cat7 standard and uses S/FTP shielding with individually foil-wrapped pairs and an overall braided shield to reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for reliable contact and improved corrosion resistance. The green jacket provides a distinct visual identification in structured cabling or home networks.

Advantages

The cable's Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidths and improved noise immunity compared with earlier categories. S/FTP shielding minimises crosstalk between pairs and external EMI, making the cable suitable for environments with multiple signal sources. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts help maintain stable connectivity and reduce signal degradation at connector interfaces. The 10 m length offers flexibility for linking devices across rooms or within rack setups without intermediate extensions.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked devices in home or office networks
• Structured cabling runs where colour coding helps organisation
• High-speed data transfer tasks such as large file transfers and media streaming
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Cable length: 10 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs + overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Route the cable between network endpoints avoiding sharp bends and tight radii to preserve signal integrity. Insert RJ-45 connectors fully into the corresponding ports on devices such as switches, routers, computers or network-attached storage; you should feel a click when the latch engages. For installations in patch panels or racks, allow slack for future reconfiguration and secure the cable with appropriate ties or organisers to prevent strain at termination points.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large motors or transformers. Maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter, avoid kinking, and ensure connector contacts remain clean. Use the green jacket for visible identification in multi-cable runs and replace any cable that shows physical damage to the jacket or connectors.
