Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-26505 50m Cat6a S/FTP čierny

The ShiverPeaks BS08-26505 50m Cat6a S/FTP Black is a high-performance network cable designed for demanding Ethernet environments. This 50-metre Cat6a cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. It is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts for reliable low-resistance connections. The black jacket provides a neutral, professional appearance suitable for visible installations in home and office settings.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable delivers improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable high-speed data transfer. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance over time. The 50 m length provides flexibility for runs between patch panels, switches, and end devices without the need for multiple connectors or couplers. The cable’s construction supports higher-frequency transmission required by modern networks.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in small offices and home networks
• Patch panel to switch and switch to workstation cabling
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial
• Audio/visual systems and streaming setups requiring stable, high-bandwidth links

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 50 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Black outer jacket
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission up to Cat6a performance levels

How to use

Plan the cable route to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields. Install the cable between network equipment such as patch panels, switches, routers, and devices, ensuring RJ-45 connectors are fully seated into ports. Use appropriate cable management (clips, trays, or ties) to secure the run and maintain bend radius. When terminating or testing, verify continuity and shielding integrity with standard network testers compatible with Cat6a specifications.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling tension during installation, and keep the cable separate from mains power lines where possible. Use certified Cat6a patch leads and properly installed patch panels or keystone jacks to preserve the cable’s shielding and transmission performance.
