Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-41015-2 Cat8.1 0,5 m F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41015-2 Cat8.1 0.5m F/FTP networking cable is designed for short-range high-speed connections in data centers, server rooms and professional networking setups. The cable complies with Cat8.1 performance specifications and uses F/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance for sustained throughput over demanding links.

Advantages

This 0.5m Cat8.1 cable delivers high bandwidth and low latency for applications that require fast, stable connections. The F/FTP (foil over individual pairs with overall foil) construction reduces crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity in environments with dense cabling or nearby electrical equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent electrical contact and long-term durability while the short length helps minimise signal attenuation and clutter in rack-mounted or desktop deployments.

Suitable for

• High-speed links between switches, routers and servers in data centers
• Short patch connections in server cabinets and network racks
• High-performance workstations and LAN gaming setups requiring low latency
• Environments with significant EMI where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance class
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Intended use: short-range, high-bandwidth Ethernet connections

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or server and the other plug to the corresponding device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Because the cable is shielded, verify proper grounding of connected network equipment and racks where applicable to maintain shielding effectiveness. Use the 0.5m length for tidy patching and to reduce excess cable in dense installations.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-performance links where maximum bandwidth and minimal interference are required. Avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling force and prolonged exposure to heat sources. For best results in shielded installations, connect equipment chassis and patch panels to a common ground.
