Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-41030

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41030 is a 2 m Cat8.1 networking cable with F/FTP shielding engineered for high-speed wired connections. Designed to support data rates up to 40000 Mbit/s, this grey cable uses full shielding around each pair plus an overall foil shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity in dense network environments. RJ-45 connectors with gold plating improve contact reliability and resist corrosion, making the cable suitable for stable connections between routers, switches, servers and high-performance workstations.

Advantages

The cable offers high bandwidth capacity suitable for demanding network applications and low latency data transfer. Its F/FTP shielding structure provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors deliver improved conductivity and a longer service life. The 2 m length provides a balance between reach and neat cable management in rack, office or home setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections for data centers and server rooms
• Professional workstations and multimedia production systems
• Home networks requiring stable, low-latency links for gaming and streaming
• Small office networks connecting routers, switches and NAS devices

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Length: 2 m
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your router, switch or network interface card and the other end to the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is felt to establish a secure physical connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable and keep it separated from sources of strong electromagnetic noise such as large transformers or unshielded power cables.

Recommendations

For maximum performance, use this Cat8.1 cable for point-to-point links within short distances (such as between rack-mounted devices) and combine it with shielded network equipment or properly grounded patch panels to preserve shielding effectiveness. Do not exceed the recommended bend radius and check connectors periodically for dust or corrosion to maintain reliable throughput.
