Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-41082

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41082 is a 15 m networking cable designed for high-speed data transmission in professional and home networks. Built to the Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding, this cable supports elevated bandwidth and improved protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve conductivity and reduce contact corrosion. A bright yellow jacket improves visibility and cable management in dense installations.

Advantages

Cat8.1 classification provides significantly higher frequency capacity compared with earlier twisted-pair standards, enabling faster data transfer rates where supported by connected equipment. The F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil wrap with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance signal integrity and connector durability. The 15 m length offers flexibility for routing between racks, switches, wall outlets, and devices while the vivid yellow color aids rapid identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections in data centers and server rooms
• Backbone and switch-to-switch links in enterprise networks
• Workstation-to-patch-panel or router connections in offices
• Home networks requiring future-proofed cabling for high-bandwidth applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding type: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold
• Length: 15 m
• Color: bright yellow
• Cable application: high-frequency twisted-pair Ethernet

How to use

Inspect both ends and the cable jacket for visible damage before installation. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends, excessive pulling force, and proximity to strong electromagnetic sources such as high-power motors or fluorescent ballasts. Insert the RJ-45 plug fully into the network port until a positive click is felt; ensure the connector clip engages to maintain a secure connection. For installations through cable trays or conduits, leave service loops to allow future re-termination or replacement. Test the installed link with an appropriate network tester to verify continuity, pair mapping, attenuation, and overall performance according to Cat8.1 expectations.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium-length high-bandwidth links where reduced interference and high throughput are required. Maintain manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius and avoid placing the cable next to unshielded power conductors to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality.
