Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS20-60155 čierny 1,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS20-60155 Black 1.5 m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a compact, shielded connection for wired networks. Designed for desktop and near-equipment connections, this 1.5 metre Cat6a cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations with gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity and support high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s. Its flexible jacket and standard connector form factor make it suitable for patching between switches, routers and networked devices where reduced interference and reliable throughput are required.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in congested installations. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent contact conductivity. With Cat6a performance characteristics, the cable supports 10 Gbps Ethernet over short runs and maintains lower attenuation compared to lower category cables. The 1.5 m length offers a balance between flexibility and minimal excess cabling in rack or desktop environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, workstations and network printers to switches or routers
• Patching between rack-mounted switches and patch panels in small network closets
• High-speed connections for NAS devices and media servers
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device (PC, switch, router or NAS) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for Ethernet cabling to preserve signal quality. For best results, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines or unshielded electrical wiring.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium patching runs where 10 Gbps performance and reduced interference are required. Replace cables that show visible damage to the jacket or connectors, and verify link speed and duplex settings on networking equipment after installation to confirm expected performance.
