Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75205-100HSP

The ShiverPeaks BS75205-100HSP is a 100 m Cat5e networking cable with SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding in grey, designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. It supports typical Cat5e performance for Ethernet connections while the combined foil and braided shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference, helping maintain stable signal quality over the full 100 m reel length.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable with SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives, which contributes to consistent data throughput. The 100 m length on a single reel simplifies installation for medium-scale cable runs and reduces the need for splicing. The neutral grey jacket blends into most environments and is suitable for visible or concealed routing.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet networks in homes and small to medium offices
• Structured cabling installations where reduced electromagnetic interference is required
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels, and wall outlets within a single floor or between adjacent rooms
• Temporary network setups for events or testing environments

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (S-FTP) – overall braided shield plus individual foil
• Length: 100 m reel
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs
• Outer jacket color: grey
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission

How to use

Run the cable along the planned route, avoiding sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large electrical motors or transformers where possible. Terminate both ends with compatible RJ45 connectors or punch down to patch panels or keystone jacks following Cat5e wiring standards (T568A/T568B) to ensure correct pair sequencing. Maintain recommended bend radius during installation and secure the cable with suitable clips or cable ties without over-tightening the jacket.

Recommendations

For best performance, test the installed cable with a network cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity, and acceptable attenuation. Use shielded connectors and proper grounding when integrating shielded cables into an installation to preserve the shielding effectiveness. If runs approach the 100 m maximum channel length for Ethernet, consider using switches or repeaters to ensure reliable throughput.
