Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75215 5 m Cat5e SF/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75215 5m Cat5e SF/UTP networking cable is designed for wired Ethernet connections in home and office environments. This 5-metre cable conforms to Cat5e performance, supports standard RJ-45 terminations on both ends and includes SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The white outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations and cable runs in structured network setups.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to improve signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic noise. The Cat5e specification ensures reliable performance for 100BASE-TX and typical gigabit-capable LAN setups where Cat5e is appropriate. A 5 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices within a room without excess slack, while molded RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact and easy plug-and-play installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and access points within rooms
• Home network and small office Ethernet wiring
• Audio/video streaming over a wired LAN
• Temporary or semi-permanent desk and workstation cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (overall foil + individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 5 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: White
• Suitable for typical Ethernet speeds supported by Cat5e cabling

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device (PC, switch, router or access point) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that cable routing avoids tight bends and pinching. For best results, keep the cable separated from mains power cables and other strong sources of interference where possible.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e SF/UTP cable for standard wired connections up to the performance limits of Cat5e. For installations in electrically noisy environments or where higher bandwidth is required, evaluate shielded infrastructure planning or consider higher category cable types. Inspect connectors periodically for wear and replace the cable if the outer jacket or connectors are damaged.
