Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.5O-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.5O-SET5 is a 0.5 m Cat7 networking cable designed for short-range connections where high bandwidth and noise immunity are required. It uses S/FTP shielding around each pair plus an overall foil shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The cable is terminated with standard RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts to ensure stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. Its bright orange jacket simplifies cable identification in patch panels and crowded racks.

Advantages

Shielded construction (S/FTP) provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, which supports consistent throughput at higher frequencies. Cat7 specification and quality connectors enable reliable Gigabit and multi-gigabit network links over short distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and long-term conductivity. The short 0.5 m length reduces excess cabling and helps maintain tidy installations while the colored jacket aids visual organization.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, patch panels and wall ports in wiring closets
• Short links in server racks and network cabinets where shielding is required
• High-density structured cabling setups where cable identification is important
• Home or office Ethernet connections requiring Gigabit or higher bandwidth over short distances

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil shielding + overall foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 plugs
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Jacket color: Orange

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks to establish a secure connection. Use the cable for short patch runs between network equipment, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve shielding integrity and connector reliability. For installations in shielded environments, ensure that connected devices and patch panels are properly grounded to take full advantage of the S/FTP shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable length consistent with patching needs to minimize untidy excess and maintain signal quality. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines; where routing near power conductors is unavoidable, maintain separation or use conduit. Periodically inspect connectors for secure seating and any signs of wear, and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors are damaged.
