Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75511-S-SET5 čierny 1 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-S-SET5 Black 1m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed to deliver high-speed data transmission with improved noise resistance. Constructed with Class F/Category 7 specification in mind, the cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity across gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet links. The cable terminates in RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent conductivity and reduced contact corrosion. Its 1-metre length and black jacket make it suitable for visible runs where a discreet, professional look is preferred.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference, improving stable transmission at higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide reliable connection quality and resistance to oxidation over time. The short 1 m length reduces signal attenuation and is ideal for connecting nearby devices without excess cable clutter. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits many office and home environments.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 (Class F)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Black
• Suitable for: Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device (such as a computer, switch, or router) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure a proper physical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or crushing; maintain bend radii consistent with typical Ethernet cable handling to preserve shielding and pair geometry.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the 1 m Cat7 S/FTP cable for short links within racks, workstations, and between nearby network devices. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for extended distances, and replace cables exhibiting visible damage or connector wear to maintain signal quality.
