Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75512-SET5 2 m Cat7 S/FTP sivý

The ShiverPeaks BS75512-SET5 2m Cat7 S/FTP Grey is a high-performance network cable designed for wired Ethernet connections requiring elevated shielding and signal integrity. This 2-meter cable uses Cat7 specifications and S/FTP (shielded overall with individually foil-shielded pairs) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, it provides consistent physical connection and corrosion-resistant contacts for reliable data transmission in home and office environments.

Advantages

Cat7 standard combined with S/FTP shielding offers improved protection against external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference compared with lower-category cables. The RJ-45 connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports, while gold-plated contacts ensure low contact resistance and extended connector life. The 2 meter length balances reach and cable management, and the neutral grey jacket integrates unobtrusively into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Wired home network connections between router, switch, PC and NAS
• Office desktop and small-workgroup Ethernet linking
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD streaming and large file transfers
• Environments with potential interference from nearby electrical equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 2 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contacts: Gold-plated for corrosion resistance
• Outer jacket color: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, modem or computer) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the mechanical latch. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain gentle curves to preserve cable performance. For best results, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large electrical appliances to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit and faster links, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable in combination with properly shielded networking equipment and connectors. When installing in cable trays or behind furniture, avoid compressing the cable and maintain bend radius recommendations from network standards to sustain signal quality over time.
