Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75513-R-SET5 červený 3 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75513-R-SET5 Red 3m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a 3‑metre Ethernet cable designed for high‑speed wired connections. It uses Category 7 specification and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is terminated with RJ‑45 connectors plated in gold for consistent signal transmission and contact reliability. The cable’s red jacket provides clear visual identification in complex cabling environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair and an overall shield improves signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Cat7 performance supports high data rates and greater bandwidth headroom compared with earlier categories. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 plugs offer corrosion resistance and stable conductivity. The 3 m length is suitable for connecting equipment across short to medium distances without excess slack, and the colored jacket simplifies cable management and quick identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and patch panels in office or home networks
• High‑bandwidth applications such as media streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Server racks and network closets where reduced interference is required
• Workstations or AV setups requiring clearly marked cable runs

Key specifications

• Length: 3 metres
• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ‑45
• Contact plating: gold‑plated contacts
• Jacket colour: red

How to use

Inspect both ends for secure RJ‑45 termination before installation. Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network device (router, switch, NIC) and the other into the corresponding port on the target device. Avoid tight bends, crushing or repeated flexing near the connectors to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For rack installations, route the cable along cable management channels and secure it with appropriate ties, leaving minimal tension on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimum performance, keep the cable separated from unshielded power cables and large electrical equipment. Use Cat7 S/FTP cabling in environments with potential EMI sources or where future‑proofing for higher network speeds is desired. Test link speed after installation to verify negotiated connection rates and replace if physical damage is observed.
