Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75515-O-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75515-O-SET5 is a 5 m Cat7 networking cable designed for high-speed data transfer and reliable wired connectivity. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to ensure stable signal transmission. The orange jacket provides easy visual identification in multi-cable environments while maintaining standard Cat7 performance for home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to deliver improved noise rejection compared with unshielded or only partially shielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact quality and reduce oxidation, contributing to consistent throughput and lower packet loss. The 5 m length offers flexible placement between devices such as routers, switches and networked computers without the need for additional adapters. The bright orange color helps with cable management and quick identification in patch panels or crowded workstations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, NAS devices and network switches within small office or home setups
• High-bandwidth tasks such as HD video streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Structured cabling runs and visible patch leads where color coding simplifies management

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7, suitable for Gigabit and higher-speed networks
• Length: 5 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Cable jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the target device such as a PC, NAS or game console. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and prevent pinching; maintain a gentle bend radius consistent with cable thickness to preserve shielding integrity. For best results, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimize potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for fixed wired connections where consistent throughput and reduced interference are required. For long-distance backbone runs or professional installations, verify channel requirements and consider testing with a network cable tester after installation to confirm performance.
