Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75515-S-SET5 5 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75515-S-SET5 5m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable provides a reliable, high-performance wired connection for Ethernet devices. Constructed to Cat7 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, this 5-metre cable is intended to reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk interference while supporting high data rates. Its black jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for residential and professional environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs to improve noise rejection and maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple nearby cables or electrical equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts promote stable contact quality and corrosion resistance for consistent throughput over time. The 5 m length balances reach and cable management for typical desktop-to-switch or wall-port connections. The cable is backward compatible with lower category Ethernet standards, allowing flexible integration into existing networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, game consoles and smart TVs to a router or switch
• Wired office workstations and small office networks
• Home network backbones and wired multimedia streaming
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable throughput are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 metres
• Color: Black
• Supports high data rates suitable for Gigabit and higher Ethernet applications (depending on network equipment)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a router, switch or wall outlet designed for network cabling. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and pinching; maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cables and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. If connecting through patch panels or keystone jacks, verify compatibility with Cat7 and shielded installations and terminate using appropriate shielded connectors if field termination is required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable with shielded network equipment or ensure proper grounding of patch panels and chassis. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines for long distances; cross power lines at right angles if necessary. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or contacts show wear that could affect signal quality.
