Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75515-Y-SET5 5 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75515-Y-SET5 is a 5-meter Cat7 networking cable with S/FTP shielding designed for reliable high-speed wired connections. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transmission and resist corrosion. The cable’s yellow jacket provides clear visual identification within patch panels, server racks, or home network setups while supporting Gigabit and higher-speed applications where Cat7 performance is required.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil screen with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and lower contact resistance over time. The 5 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch or patch-panel connections without excessive slack, and the durable jacket provides abrasion resistance and easy handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between desktops, switches, and patch panels
• High-density wiring closets and home network installations
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference
• Applications requiring Category 7 performance for high bandwidth

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 Ethernet cable
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 meters
• Color: Yellow
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper typical for patch cables (verify at purchase)

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other end into the switch, router, or wall jack. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the internal conductors or shielding. For best performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electrical noise and do not tightly coil near power transformers.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-to-medium runs up to 5 meters where Cat7 performance and S/FTP shielding offer improved immunity to interference. Inspect connectors for debris before use and avoid excessive pulling on the jacket; secure with cable management accessories to maintain connection quality and prolong service life.
