Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75517-SLM purpurový 7,5 m Cat7 U/FTP (STP)

The ShiverPeaks BS75517-SLM Magenta 7.5 m Cat7 U/FTP (STP) networking cable is designed for reliable, high-speed wired connections between networked devices. This 7.5 metre cable conforms to the Cat7 standard and uses U/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, providing stable data transmission for home and office environments. Both ends terminate in gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure consistent contact and lower insertion loss while the magenta jacket offers clear visual identification in cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity compared with earlier categories. U/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding around each pair and an overall screen help suppress crosstalk and external noise, improving performance in environments with multiple cables or nearby electrical equipment. Gold-plated contacts offer corrosion resistance and reliable connectivity over repeated insertions.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections in home networks and small offices
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices, and PCs where shielded cabling is preferred
• Cabling runs requiring clear color identification or tidy cable management

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/FTP (screened foil for each pair with overall screen)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector contact plating: gold-plated

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the cable to your network device (for example a router, switch or network card) and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance. Verify link lights on devices to confirm a successful physical connection before testing network throughput.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat7 U/FTP cable between shielded network equipment or in installations where reduced external interference is required. Avoid excessively tight bends and high-tension pulls when routing the cable; maintain recommended bend radius indicated by standard practice for Ethernet cabling. The visible magenta jacket helps with identification in multi-cable installations.
