Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75550-B 50 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75550-B 50m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. This cable supports the Cat7 specification and features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold, the cable offers reliable contact and improved corrosion resistance. The 50 metre length and blue jacket provide a balance of reach and visual clarity for structured cabling installations and temporary connections.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to deliver consistent signal integrity in environments with multiple electronic devices. The Cat7 rating ensures compatibility with multi-gigabit Ethernet and supports high bandwidth applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve conductivity and durability at connection points, while the 50 m length reduces the need for additional patching in medium to large rooms. The cable jacket is colored blue to help with cable identification within network runs.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for home networks
• Office LAN installations and desk-to-switch cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, gaming, and file transfers
• Server room patching where shielding and reduced interference are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Length: 50 metres
• Color: Blue
• Suitable for multi-gigabit Ethernet and high-bandwidth data transfer

How to use

Route the 50 m cable between devices ensuring the cable is not tightly bent or pinched near connectors. Insert the RJ-45 plugs firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports on switches, routers, modems or computers until they click into place. For permanent installations, secure the cable along cable trays or trunking and avoid running it in parallel with mains power cables to minimize interference. Test the link with a network tester or by verifying connectivity and throughput on connected devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in installations that require reduced electromagnetic interference and high data rates. Avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress; maintain bend radii recommended by industry practice. When connecting to legacy equipment, verify backward compatibility and negotiate link speeds as needed.
