Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75711-AW 1m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-AW 1m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a one-metre, white patch cable designed to support high-speed Ethernet connections that require Cat6a performance. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) protection and terminated with RJ-45 plugs on both ends, the cable provides improved resistance to electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, suitable for demanding LAN environments in homes, offices, and small server setups.

Advantages

Shielding in S/FTP design reduces signal degradation from external electromagnetic sources and limits pair-to-pair crosstalk for more consistent throughput at higher frequencies. The Cat6a specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances, while the 1 m length makes the cable convenient for patch panels, switch-to-device connections, and tidy setups where excess cable length is undesirable. The standardized RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and patch panels in home and small office networks
• Short-distance 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within racks or workstations
• High-density cabling areas where reduced interference is required
• Replacing worn or low-performance patch cables for improved signal stability

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individual pair foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 1 metre
• Color: White
• Supported speeds: up to 10 Gbps over suitable distances
• Typical use frequency range: up to 500 MHz

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the network device and the other end into the switch, router or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and close proximity to high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best performance, maintain proper bend radius as recommended for twisted-pair cables and avoid compressing the cable in tight cable management channels.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat6a S/FTP cable for short, high-performance links where shielding is required. For installations spanning longer distances or for permanent in-wall wiring, choose appropriate longer-length Cat6a or structured cabling solutions and follow local installation codes.
