Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.5R červený 0,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.5R Red 0.5m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable engineered for reliable, high-speed Ethernet connections. Conforming to Cat6 performance, the cable supports fast data transmission rates and incorporates S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. Both ends are fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors that provide consistent contact quality and resistance to corrosion. The 0.5 m length is suitable for close-proximity connections where a compact, tidy installation is preferred, and the red jacket helps with quick visual identification within a network environment.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable offers a combination of signal integrity and mechanical reliability. S/FTP shielding—an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs—reduces external noise and pair-to-pair interference for improved performance in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure dependable contact and longer connector life compared with standard plated contacts. The short 0.5 m length minimises excess cable clutter and helps maintain organised patch panels or workstation setups. The red outer jacket provides rapid visual differentiation for cable management and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between network devices (switches, patch panels, routers, network cards)
• Office or data centre patching where reduced interference and neat cabling are required
• Home networking where a compact cable is needed for desktops, consoles or media players
• Environments requiring easy visual identification of specific network segments

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance for gigabit Ethernet applications
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: stranded for flexibility in short patch applications
• Cable jacket colour: red for visual identification

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other to the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure physical connection. Use the 0.5 m length for connections where devices are close together to reduce cable slack. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and do not stretch the cable; maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radii to preserve signal quality and mechanical integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route this Cat6 S/FTP cable away from high-power electrical lines and large sources of electromagnetic interference. When used in installations with multiple cables, employ colour-coded management to take advantage of the red jacket for quick identification. Periodically inspect gold-plated contacts for debris and reseat connections if link issues arise.
