Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HB-SET5 1 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HB-SET5 1m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. This Cat6 cable supports high-speed Ethernet links and features S/FTP shielding to limit electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact quality and reduce corrosion. Its 1 meter length and blue jacket offer a compact, visible solution for short connections between switches, routers, computers and other network equipment.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded variants, helping to maintain consistent throughput. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and more reliable gigabit Ethernet performance for typical network tasks. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure durable contact surfaces and stable signal transfer. The 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter and is suitable for tidy workstation setups or rack installations with short patching runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or networked printers to a switch or router
• Patch connections in network racks or patch panels with short cable runs
• Home networking where a short, visible cable is needed
• Small office environments requiring reliable gigabit links

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Color: blue

How to use

Identify the devices to be connected and ensure both ports support Ethernet via RJ-45. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks. Route the 1 m cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of strong electromagnetic sources where possible. For patch panel or switch installations, verify port numbering and document the connection. If a longer run is required, use an appropriately rated cable for the distance.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, high-quality connections such as workstation-to-switch or switch-to-patch-panel links. Maintain gentle curves (minimum bend radius) and avoid kinking to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For environments with strong EMI, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment to maximize the benefit of S/FTP shielding.
