Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HR-SET5 červený 1 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HR-SET5 Red 1m Cat6 S/FTP is a 1-metre Category 6 Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure stable signal transmission over short runs. The cable terminates in standard RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance. Its red jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and structured cabling environments while supporting data rates typical for Cat6 installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to improve resistance to crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts deliver consistent electrical contact and reduce oxidation over time. The 1 m length is convenient for short patch connections in racks, switches and desktop setups without excess cable slack. The cable jacket and connector construction are suited for frequent insertion and removal in office or home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or networked printers to nearby switches or wall sockets
• Patch panel to switch connections in small racks or data cabinets
• Short runs in home networks, offices and multimedia installations where cable identification is helpful

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper conductor suitable for patching (check device requirements)
• Color: red jacket for easy identification

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable to connect network devices such as switches, routers, computers and network-attached storage on short runs up to 1 metre. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas with strong electromagnetic sources; maintain gentle curvature and avoid kinking to preserve performance. If used in a rack or patch panel, label both ends if required for easier maintenance.

Recommendations

For best performance, match the cable with Cat6-capable equipment and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or close to large motors. Use the red color to mark specific network segments or priority links within your infrastructure. Inspect connectors periodically for dirt or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or contacts show wear.
