Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75712-AB 2 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-AB 2m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a blue, factory-terminated Ethernet cable designed to support high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed to Cat6a performance specifications, the cable uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Each end is fitted with a standard RJ-45 connector for straightforward connection to switches, routers, patch panels and network devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction improves signal integrity and limits near-end crosstalk, making the cable suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links at short to medium distances. The 2 meter length balances flexibility and minimal excess cable in desk or rack installations. A molded connector design provides strain relief at each end, and the Cat6a specification ensures performance up to the rated frequency for demanding Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in small office or server rack environments
• High-speed home networking between router, switch and desktop or media devices
• Patch cabling in data cabinets and wall-mounted patch panels

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield with foil for each twisted pair)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, 8P8C
• Color: Blue
• Application frequency: up to Cat6a-rated frequencies for 10 Gbps Ethernet

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or patch panel and the other connector into the network device you wish to connect. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab engages. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and keep the cable separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large power transformers or unshielded electrical cables.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where 10 Gbps capability and reduced interference are required; choose appropriate cable management to prevent kinking and maintain the shield continuity by avoiding damage to the connector boots.
