Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75712-AR červený 2 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-AR Red 2m Cat6a S/FTP is a 2‑metre network patch cable designed to deliver high-speed wired connectivity for home and office environments. Built to Cat6a specifications with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting high bandwidths and stable data throughput. Both ends are fitted with RJ‑45 connectors to ensure compatibility with standard networking equipment and switches. The red jacket provides visual identification for structured cabling or dedicated connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair plus an overall foil and braid improves signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Cat6a performance supports higher frequencies and sustained data rates compared with lower category cables, making it suitable for applications that require reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit links over short runs. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management for patch panels, wall ports and desktop connections. The molded RJ‑45 plugs help provide consistent contact and reduce wear from frequent insertions.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and workstations to network ports
• Patch connections between switches, patch panels and routers
• Short runs for 1G and 10G Ethernet in home and small office setups
• Color-coded cabling schemes and visible network identification

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil; individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ‑45 on both ends, molded boots
• Cable color: Red
• Suitable for: up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances
• Conductor type: stranded copper (flexible for patching)

How to use

Insert the RJ‑45 connector into the matching Ethernet port until it clicks to establish a secure physical connection. Use the cable for patching between wall outlets, switches, routers and network-enabled devices. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; keep it away from high-voltage power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. For best performance, maintain proper bend radius and avoid running the cable under heavy objects or through tight edges that could damage the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal network performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium patch runs within racks or between desktop devices and wall ports. When installing multiple cables, maintain separation from unshielded power cabling and consider pairing with matching shielded connectors or patch panels to preserve the shielding continuity. Periodically inspect connectors and cable jackets for wear and replace if any damage is detected.
