Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75712-AY 2m Cat6a S/FTP žltý

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-AY 2m Cat6a S/FTP Yellow networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding home and office network environments. Constructed to meet Cat6a specifications, the cable supports higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with earlier categories. The S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable connections for high-speed data transfer. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors to provide a plug-and-play connection with network devices, switches, routers and patch panels.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding offers enhanced protection against external interference and preserves signal quality over the full 2-meter length. Cat6a compliance allows for reliable support of 10 Gigabit Ethernet at shorter distances and improved performance for Gigabit networks. The visible yellow jacket simplifies cable identification and routing in structured cabling installations. Robust connector molds and strain relief help maintain connector integrity during repeated insertions and cable movement.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, servers and network switches in small office or home environments
• Patch panel runs and structured cabling where color-coding is used for organization
• High-bandwidth applications such as large file transfers, video conferencing and streaming
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a, suitable for high-speed Ethernet up to 10 Gbps over supported distances
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid shield with individually foil-shielded pairs
• Length: 2 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends, compatible with standard Ethernet ports
• Cable jacket color: Yellow for easy identification
• Conductor and pair type: Twisted pair construction optimized for reduced crosstalk

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on your router, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or sharp edges; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve shielding and pair geometry. When used in bundling or conduit, allow space to prevent excessive compression of the shielded jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for links up to the recommended distances for 10 Gbps where applicable, and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for dust or damage before installation and avoid kinking the cable. Use color-coded cabling practices to simplify network identification and maintenance.
