Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75712-HG 2 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-HG 2m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a 2-meter Ethernet lead designed for high-performance wired connections. Constructed to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, this cable supports reliable data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. Its green jacket provides a distinct visual cue for easy identification in multi-cable environments and fits both home and office network setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable throughput for Gigabit Ethernet. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and signal conductivity, while the Cat6 specification ensures performance up to the standard frequency for Category 6 cabling. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and tidy cable management, and the coloured jacket aids organisation without affecting electrical characteristics.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops or workstations to routers, switches or wall outlets in home and small office networks
• Gigabit Ethernet connections and local area network segments requiring reduced interference
• Patch panel or switch-to-device patching where a 2 m reach is appropriate
• Environments where cable identification by colour simplifies installation and maintenance

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Colour: Green

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a compatible network port on a router, switch, or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. For best results, avoid sharp bends, kinks, or tight bundling that could stress the cable; route the cable to minimise exposure to sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large electrical equipment.

Recommendations

Use the cable in indoor environments and avoid outdoor exposure or direct contact with liquids. For structured cabling installations, maintain separation from mains power and follow local cabling standards. Replace the cable if connectors become damaged or if performance degrades.
