Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75712-HY 2 m Cat6 S/FTP žltý

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-HY 2m Cat6 S/FTP Yellow is a 2‑metre Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. Constructed to Cat6 specification with S/FTP (shielded foil around pairs plus overall braid) shielding, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating provide corrosion resistance and consistent contact performance, while the yellow jacket improves visibility and cable identification in patch panels and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable combines category‑rated conductors and dual-layer shielding to offer improved signal integrity compared with unshielded alternatives. The gold‑plated RJ‑45 plugs enhance connector longevity and stable electrical contact. A 2‑metre length suits short runs between wall outlets, switches and desktop equipment, and the colored outer jacket makes routing and fault finding simpler in multi‑cable environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers or printers to switches and routers
• Short patch runs in offices, server rooms and home networks
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial
• Structured cabling where color‑coded identification is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil‑shielded pairs with overall braid)
• Length: 2 metres
• Connector type: RJ‑45 plugs
• Contact plating: Gold plated contacts
• Cable jacket color: Yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your device (PC, printer or other networked equipment) and the other connector into a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid excessive bending and sharp edges that could damage the shielding or conductor pairs. For best performance, keep the cable away from high‑power electrical cabling or sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, shielded patching where reduced interference and clear cable identification are desired. For longer runs or links requiring different performance classes, select cable lengths and categories appropriate to the installation and network design.
