Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75713-AY žltý 3 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-AY Yellow 3m Cat6a S/FTP is a 3‑meter Ethernet patch cable designed to meet Cat6a performance requirements. It uses S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair with overall braid) construction and RJ‑45 connectors on both ends to provide stable high‑speed data transmission and improved immunity to electromagnetic interference. The bright yellow jacket improves cable visibility and identification in structured cabling installations, server rooms, and home offices.

Advantages

This cable's Cat6a specification enables 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over short to medium distances while S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external noise for more reliable connections. The RJ‑45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with networking equipment such as switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards. Its visible yellow jacket and flexible yet robust jacket material make routing and maintenance easier in dense cable environments.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centers, network racks, and server cabinets
• High‑speed workstation and office network connections
• Patch panel to switch or switch to switch interconnects in structured cabling
• Home network setups requiring clear cable identification

Key specifications

• Length: 3 meters
• Category: Cat6a performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around each pair plus overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ‑45 on both ends
• Jacket color: Yellow
• Typical supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps (over appropriate distances)
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router, or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until a click is felt to confirm a proper connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it clear of strong electromagnetic sources where possible to maintain signal integrity. For organized installations, secure the cable with cable ties or cable management panels while avoiding over‑compression that could damage the shielding or conductor pairs.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where 10 Gbps performance and shielding against interference are required. Avoid repeated tight bending and excessive pulling force during installation. In high‑density or high‑interference environments, pair with properly grounded equipment and follow structured cabling practices to maximize performance and longevity.
