Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75713-H-SET10 3m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-H-SET10 3m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is designed for wired Ethernet connections where stable data transfer and reduced electromagnetic interference are required. This 3-meter cable meets Cat6 performance characteristics, uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction for protection against crosstalk and external noise, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support reliable connections and corrosion resistance. Its grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for residential and professional environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP design combines an overall shield with individually foiled pairs to minimise interference and maintain signal integrity at higher data rates. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. At 3 metres length this cable offers flexibility for connecting devices across short to medium distances without excess slack. The Cat6 standard ensures compatibility with gigabit Ethernet networks and supports higher bandwidths compared with earlier cable categories.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, and network switches in home or office setups
• Wiring between routers and access points for reliable local network links
• Temporary or permanent patching in structured cabling where shielded cable is preferred
• Use near electrical equipment or cable bundles where additional shielding reduces interference

Key specifications

• Length: 3 metres
• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil on individual pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the network socket, router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends or excessive twisting of the cable and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If used in a fixed installation, secure the cable with cable clips or ties without compressing the jacket to prevent damage to the shielding.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for gigabit or lower-speed Ethernet links where improved protection against interference is needed. For runs longer than typical patch lengths, verify that overall link length and intermediate connections meet network standards. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show physical damage.
