Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75715-AG zelený 5m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75715-AG Green 5m Cat6a S/FTP is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. This 5-meter Cat6a cable uses S/FTP (shielded foil over twisted pairs with an overall braid) construction and terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends, providing improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The green jacket makes it easy to identify within cable bundles or patch panels while its flexible design supports neat routing in home and office network environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections where cable length and environment are appropriate. The Cat6a specification ensures wider bandwidth and lower alien crosstalk compared with lower-category cables. The 5 m length offers a practical reach for typical desk-to-switch or patch-panel connections without excess slack. Durable jacket and molded RJ-45 plugs help maintain connector integrity through repeated insertions.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and patch panels in home and small office networks
• High-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gbps over short to moderate distances
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required (near power lines, dense cabling)
• Structured cabling within racks, wall outlets and desktop setups

Key specifications

• Length: 5 meters
• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil around pairs + overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Green
• Transmission capability: suitable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over supported distances
• Construction: twisted pair with foil and braid shielding; molded connector strain relief

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device until it clicks to establish a physical connection. Use one end to connect a computer, switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the corresponding network equipment. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve shielding effectiveness and conductor integrity. For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended Cat6a length limits for the intended Ethernet speed.

Recommendations

Position the cable away from strong electrical noise sources and separate it from unshielded power cabling when possible. Use the 5 m length for direct desk-to-switch or patch-panel connections; for permanent installations consider securing the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent movement and strain on connectors. Verify network equipment supports desired Ethernet speeds and configure link settings as needed for optimal throughput.
