Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75715-AS 5m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75715-AS 5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for environments requiring high data throughput and reduced electromagnetic interference. Built to the Cat6a specification with S/FTP (shielded foil around twisted pairs plus overall braid) construction, this 5-meter cable supports high-speed Ethernet links while maintaining signal integrity over short to medium distances. The cable is terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends and comes in a black jacket for a neutral, professional appearance.

Advantages

Shielding in S/FTP design minimizes crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving stability and overall link quality. Cat6a specification allows support for 10 Gbps Ethernet at suitable distances, and the 5 m length balances reach and reduced latency for desktop-to-switch or patch-panel connections. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network devices and infrastructure without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to wall outlets, switches, and patch panels
• Linking network equipment in offices, server rooms, and audio/video setups
• High-bandwidth applications such as large file transfers, video streaming, and VoIP

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil around pairs + overall braided shield)
• Length: 5 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Jacket color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device and the other to a compatible switch, router, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the shielding or conductor pairs; maintain bend radii consistent with manufacturer guidance. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in indoor wired network installations where reduced interference and support for multi-gigabit speeds are required. For permanent installations, verify patching and cable management to prevent strain on connectors; for mixed shielded/unshielded environments, ensure grounding practices are observed when connecting to shielded infrastructure.
