Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75715-AY 5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75715-AY 5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections in home and small office environments. With a 5‑metre length and S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction, it provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. The cable is terminated with standard RJ‑45 connectors on both ends and is finished in a bright yellow jacket for easy identification in structured cabling or patch panel setups.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP construction reduces external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission at higher frequencies. The Cat6a specification enables 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over typical horizontal cabling distances, while the 5 metre length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch or patch panel connections without excess slack. RJ‑45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network equipment, and the durable jacket provides mechanical protection for everyday handling.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers within an office or data cabinet
• Patching between wall outlets and network devices in structured cabling
• Short runs requiring 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance and reduced interference
• Identifiable patching in multi-cable installations due to bright yellow jacket

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield plus individual foil around each twisted pair)
• Length: 5 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs on both ends
• Color: Yellow
• Support: Up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet at standard horizontal cabling distances

How to use

Insert one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance. For installations within racks or conduits, use appropriate cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium horizontal runs where 10 Gigabit performance and interference rejection are required. Keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius. For long permanent links or plenum spaces, verify compliance with local installation standards and select cables rated for the specific environment.
