Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75715-S 5 m Cat6a S/FTP čierny

The ShiverPeaks BS75715-S 5m Cat6a S/FTP Black is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired network connections. It offers Category 6a transmission characteristics with screened foil-twisted pair (S/FTP) shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and comes in a 5-metre length with a black jacket that fits residential and commercial environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against alien crosstalk and EMI compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to maintain stable data transfer rates over longer distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance for long-term reliability. The 5 m length delivers flexibility for typical desk-to-router or patch-panel connections, while the black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance for home offices, server racks, and visible installations.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between computers, routers, switches and patch panels
• Gigabit and 10 Gigabit network segments where Cat6a performance is required
• Home offices, small business networks and data closets requiring reduced interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance suitable for 10 Gbps Ethernet over copper
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus foil-screened twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 metres
• Outer jacket color: Black
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (for example a router, switch or computer) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure both ends are fully seated until the connector latch clicks. For performance consistency, avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, or routing near strong electromagnetic sources; keep the cable run within recommended distances for copper Ethernet to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the cable for in-room or rack connections up to 5 metres; for runs that require shielding effectiveness, maintain proper grounding of connected equipment where applicable. If routing alongside power lines or in areas with heavy EMI, prefer shielded cabling topology and avoid kinking or crushing the cable to preserve shielding and conductor performance.
